| I think that with a bit of luck we could finish 6th but more likely 8th again, we have some depth in the forwards but IMO were still thin in the backs. the players im looking forward to seeing this year are Eden, Keating and Larroyer. Greg Edens got great potential but needs to be more consistent for me, Keatings got a big job on his hands but im hopefull he will be very good for us, I don't think we'll be as predictable as previous seasons as we won't have the one go to man. Larroyer is another with massive potential, pace and power.
im looking forward to seeing Salter, Cox and hopefully James Green really pushing on this season and becoming regulars too.
so where do you all think we'll finish and who do you think will be our stand out players?

| With average luck, I'd say 6th to 9th. There'll be little between the teams in mid-table. Catalans are the safest bet of the mid-table group. Rovers, Hull and Salford have made more changes and taken more gambles. Could pay-off and could go wrong for any of them - though Salford are pretty much guaranteed to improve.
I think/hope that we'll be steadier and more resolute. I agree we're a bit thin in the backs and the losses of Dobson and Paea shouldn't be underestimated - but I was pleasantly surprised with how well we recruited (on paper) to fill those voids.
I'm most looking forward to seeing how the pack goes. It has been bigged up, but it does, touch wood, look very solid.

| Top 6 and a good cup run.
I'm expecting Rovers to be a much tougher nut to crack this season and more consistent results.
If we can be better defensively, and with a bit of luck in the draw, we could go a long way in the Challenge Cup.

| Most clubs can go far in the challenge cup with the luck of the draw, ask Wigan in 2013 !

I'm not convinced by Catalans, not sure about their coach and have list their best two forwards in Menzies and casty.
Halfback they are poor, Dureau didn't look the same as his ilness and Pryce isn't good enough anymore IMO.
I think Salford will miss out on the 8.

| I'd think we've improvement in us from last year, so I'm saying seventh.
We seem to give the 'top 5' cart Blanche to finish in any of them top positions, and I'd say rightly so, but anyone of them could have an horrible season, be it injuries, in fighting, coach departures....anything really. I'm thinking one of them will be pushed back into our little battle for places between 6th and 9th.

| Wigan, Warrington, Leeds, Saints, Catalan and Huddersfield are my bet for the top 6. 7 and 8 could be a big battle between the two Hull clubs, Bradford and Salford.
Wakefield, Castleford and Widnes may surprise a few while London are most likely the whipping boys for obvious reasons.
I know a lot has been made of Salford but as Schofield said, they have a dads army look to them and with age comes injuries and their depth is not all that great. If they get lucky - and that can be said about any side - then they can make the top 8 but I just think the two Hull clubs are 7th and 8th bound.
Hopefully we can buck the trend with this much meatier side and rough it up. As has been said in the press, we'll be a side that doesn't get rolled in the forwards as much and be a match for the Catalan and Saints packs.
If any of those top 6 sides are going to drop out then I'd like to think Rovers can be the team to replace them. Keating and Burns look a top quality pairing while Craig Hall is just the wild card that could keep teams guessing what is going to come next.
Anything other than a top 8 place is unforgivable with the side we've assembled but I predict a rather strong league this year with only London odds on favourite for the drop that unlucky 13th spot could create a do or die attitude for teams lingering around it.

| The only thing that matters to me and every Rovers fan, is simply beating Hull FC. I don't care if we get relegated and go out of business, it's all about beating them lot from over there! We should rest every player ahead of playing them in order to beaterum the bestest. Nothing more, matters more, than Justin Poore - putting that sellout whore, on the floor. League and cup - forget about them. 100% concentrate on beating those west side motherfreppers. All our home games should be about anti Hull FC songs in the famous East Stand. All our players are only here because of the massive noise we make. In fact, everyone in the East Stand should have flares. Not them smoke canisters tat, but proper, dangerous distress flares. Red Army! Argh. Kill, kill, kill. Death to the west.
