| Just had a look at what we have left, we have at least 3 very winnable games, which would give us 26 points which usually gets in the top 8. In saying this I believe we can target more of them games as winnable especially in current form. The game against St Helen on Friday is a big game and although they have Roby back I still think we have a good chance of winning. Onwards and Upwards.

| The way i see it we SHOULD beat London and Salford and we have a good chance against Hull and Widnes and any of the remaining 4 would be a bonus.

| Looks like Wakefield will remain in the hunt, just about. Winning comfortably against London and they have a game in hand. Bradford 8 up at half time against Widnes means they're likely to stay right on our tails.
I can't see anybody getting 28 points and missing out, and there's a decent chance that 26 might be enough - though we'd maybe be relying on points difference and ours isn't good. The current top 4 are shoo-ins. Catalans, barring a shocking collapse, have enough runs on the board and quality to be 90% sure, even with the possibility of the cup providing a (welcome) distraction. Despite the loss at Cas probably ending their top 4 aspirations, much the same goes for Hull - their run in is pretty friendly and they should win half of them at least.
I think we need to win one of next two, because then we've got a really tough run. Saints at Saints will be a big ask, but would put them under massive pressure and be another huge boost for us. Salford at home - looks pretty rosey if we win, a bit ropey if not.
Edit - Widnes fought back to win at Bradford, which helps our cause, I think it is fair to say.

'"
The Widnes win alters everything.
Think it puts the death knell in the Bulls chances and if we beat Wakey at home a week Monday they can also forget it.
Confidently expect both Hull teams to be in the play-offs after today.

A reminder that we can't afford to be complacent against Salford though too. Mind, after our last game against them, I'd hope that wouldn't be an issue anyway.

| The 8 is sorted now, only question is who finishes where. I think top 4 will probably be as it is now (unless leeds go into freefall with their injuries), saints probably 5th, with the other 3 in any of the 6th to 8th places. I expect whoever wins the CC 1/4 final between cats and Hull will probably take their eye off the ball in the league and may end up 8th.
You have a good track record against saints so I think you'll give them a good game. All depends on whether burns plays and how well you recover from the cats trip but the magic loss seems to have galvanised your players and you've created some momentum so wouldn't be too shocked if you did pull off a win

| It's easy to get carried away after a weekend of results as good as ours, but I do think we can go to Saints and turn them over.
For some reason or another they aren't the team that people expected them to be and with all of our important roles in the team currently occupied by blokes who are brimming with confidence, I don't see any reason why we can't turn up on Friday and get a result.
I've believed since the Bradford win that we would be in the top 8, and barring a balls up of 2012 proportions, I can't see us missing out now. Contrast a month ago and everything is looking pretty rosey in the HKR garden, this week at least.

Saints look to be running into a bit of form at thye moment, getting some bodies back and key players are playing well. I think they'll go on a bit of a run now and maybe even push top 4 by the end of the season. Think we may take a bit of a beating on Friday, they owe us a couple from earlier in the season as well.

| You might be right, the travel and relatively short turnaround might prove too much for a couple of players to be fit in time for Friday as well.

...and even worse for us.
I very much think you'll make the eight now as we just get worse every week and will probably gain no more than 6 points throughout the remainder of the season.
