OK, so I fully expect that this thread will be locked before anyone can respond, but I'm not interested in the man who might be the prospective investor himself and will not mention even his name in good old Harry Potter style.

However, has anyone got any firm news on whether this "takeover" or investment is actually now going to happen. All we have officially is, well, nothing, and it's now been a week since funds were allegedly sent to Rovers.

A certain Mr Sandercock mentioned how well the club does on limited funds on the post match derby interview. Not that he's really know for certain either.

Any ideas (without being stupid about it)?

FWIW My opinion is that you should always be wary of people who come in so vocally before anything has been finalised. A good businessman would have learnt that you never take anything for granted until all the t's are crossed and the i's dotted.
There's a lot that doesn't add up with the whole story so I'm firmly in the 'it wont happen' camp and if it does then I'll be pleasantly surprised.
