Good coach was Justin. Keen motivator (especially for derbies) and promotion, survival, 7th, 4th must be as good a trajectory as you could ask for. What's he up to these days? Left Canberra I think.

His kids stayed in school over here so I guess with him not been needed over in Australia it was obvious that he'd return to the area. If we have some extra funds floating about maybe we could get him into some coaching role.

IMO, reckon he will be after a job over here, give it the first 6-10 games and coaches like millward and betts along with a few others will be looking over their shoulder.

Mostly agree - the 'getting up for the derbies' is overplayed by Hull fans though IMO. We were just as good or better than you, 2007 aside. They weren't anomalous results. Not that we haven't got comforting self-evident truths that are fictions, of our own.



Good coach as he was, Sandercock is in charge now and doesn't need a ghost of seasons past to 'help' him. Wouldn't look great for JM's career trajectory either.

Last season's collective efforts probably = Limp Richard
and overall JM's efforts = Max Johnson

That said, the more JM was in/around Rovers, the more likely potential friction/rumours/problems would develop with CS' position.
The levels of poor trolling on here would also become dangerously high. Without Matty, I doubt the current incumbents could handle the situation.

I reckon JM will probably spend a lot of time @ Sky/BBC.

As much as I am not Morgan's greatest fan, I would rather listen to him pontificating than Robbie Hunter-Paul. Iestyn Harris has about as much charisma as the desk that this computer rests on. So I guess that leaves Brian Noble and Juzza then for RL coverage then ?

Morgan always came across well on the tell in my opinion. Articulate, well dressed and knowledgable about the game.
However, he is also a very good coach so should an opportunity arise, I am sure he would take it. I consider him a far better coach than at least four current super league coaches, including sandercock

Love Claire Balding me. My understanding is she is the face of channel 4 racing so cannot appear on BBC racing but has been retained for rugby league coverage because she loves it (rugby league obvs).

Morgan had the passion, charisma and ability to get a team prepped.

You really don't have that with Sandercock. Not to mention his God-awful nasal, whiny voice that makes me reach for the mute button.

Saint Claire still works for the BBC & will be presenting a saturday night prime time show as well as racing on chanel 4 if my information is correct?

the bbc hasnt got any horse racing coverage anymore not even the national thats why baldings switched to channel 4

Seem to recall reading that she will still cover BBC's Rugby League games. Would love to see the outcome if McCririck (spit) starts his stupid antics, when she's presenting the racing.

P.S. Justin had his time with Rovers, we've moved on and so has he. Though I think that it may well be worth his while being around the Rugby scene!
