Any news on the money man coming to the club seems to have gone quiet

If it is still maybe happening, it is certainly dragging on longer than expected (I assume, based on the timings of the media stories).
A good decision is obviously preferable to a quick one, but I guess it has hit a bump at very least. Up to the Supporters Trust meeting, I thought they were maybe holding off for that. Now it could well be the new year, if at all.

I hear Mr Larvin has been telling drinking buddies in the east hull pubs that he is putting money into Rovers. would be a dark day for Rovers on a par with moving from Holderness Road if they got involved with tainted money.

There's Cashback gag in there somewhere. There's not really a downside for Rovers if it goes through IMO. Mike Smith's been overseeing the due diligence for several weeks, so no risk there. Having the owner extradited if our new friend's info is correct and paperwork is resolved might be embarrassing, but with Wayne Bennett in charge of the team would you be bovvered?
