| Well it looks like sandra has finished is game, if he has how about picking who you think was rovers best player ever and he does not have to be a star, just one player that stood out for you from the 60s to now and you hull fans that come on hear can have a go with your player -------no prises just a bit of fun to pass the time till the season starts

| Look at this, serious post that's on topic.
It has to Sir Roger of Millward, no player has ever done more for the club. Unfortunately I'm just too young to have seen him play, so for me it's Gavin Millar. I might be wrong about this but I think he was the only player ever called up to represent the Kangaroos for the first time whilst playing in Britain.

Could have and should have had a great career in the game. Unfortunately believed his own hype and turned into a big waste of space.
The state that Rovers were in at the time he's have been miles better off at Hull.

| Yeah Prohm's a close second for me, just sheer class.
Last I heard of Millar he was a baggage handler for an Aussie airline, not that there's anything wrong with that but it should serve as a reminder to the young players that you're a long time retired and there's not that much money in TGG
Also have a real soft spot for Whetu Taewa because of the well documented sock scenario.
Doesn't sound good that.

I recall that, his restaurant did go bust, you'd hope that the sport manages to steer ex-players into a better post playing career than owning a pub and the like now-a-days.
Hypen-tastic that.

| In the grain of sand that is living memory then obviously Roger Millward.
'Tich' West scoring 53 points with 11 tries and 10 goals in a single game, (64 points in today's money) even Roger never got close to that.

| Roger Millward was before my time and I would have loved to see him play. Cas lad to boot as well.
I would also say Gavin Miller. When he arrived in the UK in the 80's fans from all clubs could see how far the aussies had developed as players. Players like Miller made us realise how the worlds game was changing. Fantastic workrate and one of those players that never gave in.
