KC to sponsor new North Stand
The club are proud to announce that communications provider KC will be the sponsor of the new North Stand currently being constructed at MS3 Craven Park.
The 2,600 seater stand, which is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2013, is part of an £8m scheme to develop enterprise, employment, leisure and community facilities at the home of the Robins.
Once complete, it will be known as the KC North Stand with the Hull-based company having signed a three-year agreement with the club.
Andrew Mowbray, Commercial and Marketing Director at Hull Kingston Rovers, is delighted to welcome KC on board. He said: “We are absolutely thrilled to announce KC as our sponsor of the new North stand and it’s fair to say when we drew up a shortlist of preferred sponsors for this project, KC was an obvious target.
“The North Stand development is the first piece of the jigsaw and a signal of intent by the club to provide our fans and visiting supporters with a first class facility that we can all feel very proud of.
“However, the new North stand development will be much more than part of a sporting arena. It will provide the local community with new and exciting opportunities in terms of training and career development. Therefore, the benefits of this project will be felt right across the local community.
“With this in mind we desperately wanted to find a partner that shared in those values and the importance of putting something back into the local community. With KC we certainly feel that we have found one of those companies.”
Sean Royce, KC’s Commercial and Finance Director, said: “We’re delighted that Hull KR’s new North Stand will bear our name. Sport plays a big part in bringing people together and creating regional pride, and we’re committed to local communities in both the east and west of the city.
“For the last two years we’ve supported the Hull KR Education and Sport Trust, which runs the popular KC Robins Challenge programme, and last season we also sponsored Hull KR’s Youth Academy.
“Our sponsorship of the North stand takes our partnership with the club to a different level, and the three year agreement signals our desire to play a part in Rovers’ ongoing success.”

If Home only, were are the away fans going to be in the "Glasgow" south end permanently ? |

With the stand not opening until well into the 2013 season, will it be walk up trade that it attracts or will we be able to book a season ticket for the new stand and sit/stand els here until it opens. I am thinking oif giving it a go now my back is getting worse from prolonged standing.

If they've any sense they'll offer a ticket from whenever it's ready, say a half season and then if you get less games than that you get them knocked off the price of a 2014 ticket.
Bit of a gamble for you at your age I suppose...
