Apparently one of our better players (although this time round we only won 1 game) he scored the last try in the last game also i think.

I went to watch this last night and Jake looked impressive, albeit against mainly reserve grade players. He ran the ball well and scored a typical Jake try.

Seeing how Cas have signed Shenton on a lucrative 4 yr deal I cannot see Webbo going to Cas. He will demand a sizeable contract and TBF I don't think Cas have that sort of money. Its all gone on Shenton and Chase!

Apart from this year (and these are Mild Rovers numbers, obviously I wouldn't be that much of a geek to actually look it up) he's not been that bad. He's made something like ninety four appearances in four and a half seasons.

I think the perception comes from the amount of times he goes down in games, people assume it's for the magic sponge but it's really due to his chronic backgammon addiction. The physio brings his smart phone on and he has a couple of roles and then gets playing again.
