Against London on Sunday we had 8 players from Hull in the squad and 1 chap from a little place called Leeds. We've come along way and are only going up on this front. Inclusions for James Green and Cox & Wheeldon would have made it 11

Infact can almost make a full hull based squad from our 1st team.

At the moment, we have 11 imports. Until this number is whittled down and the young lads that we signed up are first team regulars, you'd be an idiot to start gloating.

Although i agree, Lovegrove isnt classed as overseas so its 4.
Shannon- upto him if he takes the 2nd year option in his deal.
Jake- think its got to be his last season here, cant see him been cheap either so can be spent elsewhere.
Ben- think we will give him another year if he wants it, and 2013 should be him and his replacement woking very close together and playing at least 1/4 of the games.
Joel- byebye for me, expensive and doesnt want to me here.

Rhys- hasnt been offered a new deal yet, if he gets one it needs to be more then what hes getting or he will be at another SL club in 2013. As hes classes as homegrown aswell i think we need to tie him up.

Jake - I'd be tempted to offer him a new deal, albeit on reduced terms.
I doubt we'd be able to get anyone better for the money and I doubt he'd get a better deal anywhere else too.

How could we bin him when he had a 3 year contract in his skyrocket? Unless he requests release we are obliged to pay him.

Lovegrove got dispensation in 2007 due to him being under 21 when we signed him I think thus some of his development was done by Rovers. Withers and O'Hara got dispensation due to the Crusaders going belly up as did all overseas Crusaders players. Don't know about Martin or Manu.

Loveg'o'rove U20 or some nonsense when he came. (he may also have a British passport?)
Withers & O'Hara are exempt from the Crusaders nonsense
