if you had the ability to change time who from all the rovers players from the past would you bring back to play in the team now back say from the 1980 to 2011 and once you had the team were do you think it would finish

For me it would be between Roger Milward, Gavin Miller and Garry prohm, unless you are not putting a limit on how many in which case i would add Flash Flanagan and a few others if i had the time right now, but i dont so i will leave it at that.

Dave Watson, forgot about him. Played a fair bit at standoff as well if I recall.

Yeah, mainly a stand off, also an accomplished full back but I've got a soft spot for him so I shoe horned him in.

Liked some of Andyhullofalad's selections, (although bit undecided, you can't pick two players for the same position, make a decision man!) I'll have to go back and have look as it's on the previous page.

Greg Austin, that's who Andy selected that I liked, scored tries for fun and had a very traditional moustache.

Can't believe that you were in two minds at loose Andy, Gavin Miller all the way, the best player I've ever seen in a Rovers shirt.

I always thought he played most of his games as Sullivan Jr's centre.

You're probably right, I have a terrible memory for these things, anyway, that's how I've listed him, the winger I put on that side was Sullivan Jnr.

If I remember right he played 3/4 or 6.
He prefered centre so spent most of his time there.
We then got shut of him for one the 'worst props with the biggest reputation' the club has ever had infact the only thing I can remember said prop doing was scoring on his debut.

So many possibilities....

Would have to seriously consider Paul Harkin tho' in these days of 40/20's...

Yeah, great player, and also had the requisite moustache. I'd have liked to have fitted Wayne Parker in, loved him as a kid. If we had unlimited interchanges in an NFL style, we could have him on the bench for last minute drop goals.
