As previously stated on another thread Watts is unlikely to feature at 13 this season. I may be wrong but he's been training with the front rowers while Horne, Lovegrove and Murrell have been training with the back rowers at 13. Horne and Lovegrove have also been training in the centres to cover if/when injury occurs. Can only see one of those two in the 13 position if Murrell is moved to 6.

If Dobson is out who will play 7??????????

Withers and Murrell would be the obvious choices for 6 and 7, I'd guess.

I thought your attacking play stopped when the ball got to Murrell so if I was a KR fan I'd prefer to see Withers at 6. Also I personally would like to see Lovegrove at 13, always been a fan off his.

You are probably right on the second statement. I would imagine a few fans were armed with awkward questions.

Not too bothered about a pre season practice game so long as:

1. no injuries

2. Netherton is always picked as 20th man.

I'm not bothered about friendly results, although, this isn't really a friendly, it's bragging rights.

The losing teams fans will always play it down as just a friendly, while the winning teams fans will treat it as a playoff final, like the Hull fans did last year.

I'd rather we didn't have this game, takes too much away from the other derbies, I'm still going, though.

Totally agree as nice a bloke as nethers probably is he just doesn't do it for me.

I don't know why he is still at rovers i say only play him if we are desperate and i don't think its come to that yet I hope not

I do see what you say abouth nethers, and althought solid in defence i also agree.
Yet he must do something in training we dont see that coachs like for him to get picked. And the players love having him alongside them on the field, therefore i can only assume hea a grafter that no1 really sees and takes notice of - but all teams have one.
