| How come he's not getting a game in the first team? He was excellent for your U20's v Wigan on Saturday and gave Stef Mash a torrid time.

| As pointed out on previous threads, he was average at Hull, he signed for us and is not better than what we have got, so he gets a game occasionally (like next week when Jake might be out). Why the clamour to include a squad player when we have better in the first 17.

Earlier in the season when we played wigan 20s at home you had Marsh and Goulding in the centres. Hall terrorised them to the extent that they were switching sides during the game to try and deal with him.
Sadly the people that matter dont seem to be seeing these performances.
He is the most instinctive attacking force we have at the club but it doesnt seem to be something that Justin wants which is surprising since it is him who signed him.

Sheer pettiness from what I hear, absolutely pathetic. Him and Welham should be our first-choice centres, Webster's finished IMO.

| I have been really impressed with Hall, puzzles me why he hasn't been in the first team much.He certainly seems to have addressed his defence issues he had at FC.

He must be gutted having signed for Rovers to get first team rugby, proven himself in early season, and now finding himself just as sidelined as he was at FC. Don't know what the guy has to do to get a fair crack TBH.

| It's quite astonishing how he isn't a first team regular, offers a lot more than Webster and isn't injury prone.
We have to see him this week.

| Hall isn't playing because he came and said he didn't want to be a jack of all trades, be wanted to be a left sided centre. Well when you're competing with Super League's top scorer it's tough isn't it.

| Webster has been one of our better players all season, consistantly performing well. Our play goes from right to left which is why Welham is bagging the tries, if we could do the same move from left to right Webster would have similar figures IMO.

| The problem Hall has had is that our two first choice centres have been fit, both of them playing good, well in Welhams case, excellent.

Ermmm he has to be better then Jake Webster and Kris Welham!!! At a guess with Webster injured Craig Hall will probably play against Hull FC.

Easty you know that's totally untrue mate, Webster does very little these days, whatever he does do Hall could do just as good a job IMO. I know it's harsh but Webster has simply become a liability with his injuries, literally every tackle he now takes I am half expecting him to stay down, he just can't do it at SL level anymore and probably hasn't been able to since 2009 at the latest. If I had to have a guess I'd say it's a hell of a lot more to do with politics, which absolutely stinks.

For me Webster has being very good this season. He's not had the injuries this year and has had a consistent run in the side and will certainly be a miss if he's missing on Sunday.

If Craig had defended as bad a Webster did on Friday, prior to his 'injury', he'd have been dropped this week without question.

Yes that is the puzzling thing.
Webster makes some strong tackles but can still be poor defensively at times like in the Wigan game for the first 2 tries.
Think Jake is always going to be one of those players who is never as good as you think he should be. If Hall plays instead we will gain as much as we lose IMO.

Our defence out wide has been nothing short of woeful, He has scored only 4 tries in 12 league games and only created 3, He went missing (Not for the first time) against Wigan before he went of injured.
Now campare that to Welham (Yes I know we are a right to left team).
Defence has been no better (He has missed more though but you have to actually lay a hand on the man to miss him) but he has scored 15 in 15 league games created only 1, He doesn't look like he has been in a car crash everytime he is in any kind of contact though.
Craig Hall has played half as many games as Webster but is only behind him by 1 on both tries scored and created.
Say what you want but Craig Hall has been given the messy end of the stick and Webster will play no matter what.

Couldn't agree more. IMO it's another reason to let Morgan go, because his blatant favouritism such as this is having a very detrimental affect on the team and consequently results. No room for it in what is supposed to be a professional set-up.
