There will ALWAYS be a Hull or Rovers in one guise or another. And if the unthinkable ever happened and the clubs merged the smaller club. AKA Rovers would just reform a few leagues below. Just like what happened when Sheffield merged with Huddersfield and Gateshead merged with Hull.

I retire in a couple of years time & will be eligable for cheaper season tickets & I am planing to buy an FC one as long as they still play Fridays & Rovers on sunday. In the derby I support Rovers any other game I will & have allways suported FC. The derby at the KC will be fun though but on the whole most FC fans welcome me at thier games it is just the few morons that infest both teams supporters that think it is strange.

Agreed, if Rovers went under I certainly couldn't go watch what can be the most frustrating sport in the country. International and top club Union is ok, the game played in its more traditional sense I find tedious and not an alternative to League at all.

I would watch a merged club if it was done right and there wasn't another option, but it would have to be very very carefully done.

Skirlaugh for me - could not even think about the unthinkable - or having to go to the K C more than once year - apart from for a play off game tho !!!!
