Disgusting, no Rovers team at any level should be getting tonked like that. Would rather see our fringe players sent out on loan if this is a sign of things to come.

I can't imagine the highest paid forward at the Brisbane Broncos would have allowed this to happen, unless he's feeling a bit out of sorts.

The result is all the more surprising since 5 of Cas's best U20s are in the 19 for tomorrow so didn't play.

Why are you so concerned with everything Rovers? Anyway away from Mrs Borings love of all things red n white I see Willie Isa got a hatrick. Glad he's not playing tomorrow. Will be a cracking player for Castleford when fully fit.

They're no longer U20s. They're senior players. As for Isa, he is fit. We're just letting him get adjusted to the English conditions/style of play, etc.

Not a bad way to do it if you have enough depth in the backs.

Very disappointed from what I saw of Rovers' under 20's today.

Looked poorly-drilled across the board and were largely outmuscled and outplayed in what was a feisty encounter.

Jordan Cox apart, a number of the under 18's appear from last year appear to be struggling to make the step up.

So our U20's where missing Hodgson, Watts, Latus & Taylor due to first team needs

Out of interest how many from the U18's made the step up this year?

Arundel is not just in to make up the numbers. He'll be our first choice centre this season. Milner is our second hooker, Walker is playing out of his skin. If Hudson is fit, I don't expect Clark to figure. The other junior is Holmes and he's done really well so far and us not playing Snitch after his suspension says it all to me.

We really do have some depth this season.

Latus and Hodgson are 21 though.

Always impressed with Cas's genuine commitment to bringing through homegrown talent and fielding youngsters - like you say, not playing Snitch is a clear indicator of this. Good stuff.

Watts, Latus and Hodgson, are all 21, with Hodgson bought on the proviso he DIDN'T play 20s as was happening to him at Hull FC.
A large number of last years 20s were on show today at Leigh for Dockers in the Challange Cup, putting on a very respectable display. The likes of Nick Powley, Gareth Moore, Jack Snowden, Karl Smirk.

And all of the radio presenters and callers disagreed with the decision you mean.
