| Dobson and Green clicking by the first game
Dobson playing on even though he was clearly injured and still being better than Long
Galea playing with a bad neck, head and dead leg and still scoring two tries!
Murrell showing no respect for one of Leagues greatest ever back rowers who seemed to be under instruction to be dirty

| One of the players who I thought would not start the game a little bit edgy would be Galea. Some worrying defence for the first 16/17 mins, then snapped right out of it and put in a quality performance! His line running for both tries was outstanding and he also had a hand in both of Welhams tries, he was massive for us. Lets not forget the 'King of Hull', powered his was through for his try. When these two are in form like that there aint a better SR partnership in the SL!

| Scott Wheeldon - Takes the ball off Manu at one end, when Hull could have put the game beyond us, then a couple of minutes later, makes a brilliant backhanded offload that gave Green the half-yard he needed to drag us back into contention.

| Mark O'Meley going off for them was massive.
Other than that I have to agree with the two Wheeldon incidents and Scotty's scuffle with Voldemort, seemed to get a grip after that.

| Also Hull taking the two when Fitzgibbon fell over after murrell leathered him. A real momentum killer for them, they should have been ruthless and gone for the throat

| Newtons try for me. Just the ease with which he scored.
Hulls heads seemed to drop at that point, players & fans.
Once we were back within 2 points there just seemed an inevitability about how the rest of the game was going to go.

| The introduction of Wheeldon, Hodgson and Cockayne changed the game. Our bench was awesome yesterday and Morgan got the player rotation spot on given the type of game it was.

| Morgan showed how much of a better coach he is. Interchanges spot on whilst Agar never utilised his bench to it's anywhere near it's potential. It was the Hull pack that worried me most and I was correct for the first 10 minutes of the game. What did Hull expect with there go forward leaving Houghton to play 80 minutes in an intensive game like that. Bet he was shattered come full time.

You are correct , especially about the interchanges but I think we all know that Morgan is a better coach than Agar.
As I said on a thread on the Hull board, Rovers look a good side and if there can have some luck with injuries they should challenge for the top 4, you have the best 7 in the league and one of the best second row partnerships in SL.
Hull need to improve their goal line defence and discipline we looked better with ball in hand than last year and caused you some problems, i aren't too disheartened with the performance and we should still make the playoffs this year, our two new signings should give us greater balance and more depth.
Frighting (or exciting to you) to think of your backrow if Mason comes.

Lets not forget Rhys Lovegrove who was Rovers best forward last season is still be come back at some point so the options Morgan has from a fit squad are mouth watering for the Red and White fans when Willie arrives.

Think losing Radford as well didn`t help our cause t.b.h.,not taking anything away from your win.

On reflection I think it was Rufus' latest crushing victory over Airlie Bird that set the tone

Yes the SKY commentary team didn't notice the ball steal by Wheeldon but it was a real big play.
Also in the first half looked for sure Houghton was going over and was stopped just short by (I think) Welham.
