I thought he didn't have too bad a game today! Nice low penalty count, errors in single figures (which is impressive by SL ref's standards...).

Dobbo should have got 10 minutes for the "professional" foul on Tomkins just before half-time, though.

i thought he 'ok' but the big momentum shift in the second half was 5hite. everyone new he was tackled and should have played the ball yet was allowed to make another 15 metres to the line, wouldnt alter the result althought the scoreline was harsh on us in the end.

Thought he touched it first but thought the ref tried to let the game flow he did ok for me, which makes a welcome change.

I'd like to see that again on TV TBH, I think we were hanging in there until that point. However Wigan were superb yesterday, Tomkins tore us apart.

A high tackle isn't a professional foul and it wasn't even a high tackle. Jurgen Tomkins made out he was shot

As I said, please quote someone even attempting to say he lost us the game! The incident to OP refered to was a knock on by Rovers which wasn't given (correctly as it came off Bricoe's knee).

I wasn't too far from the incident and felt that Briscoe knocked on. Was relieved he didn't give it but left me and more then a few overs quite baffled.

nearly as baffled as when their player made that break and was allowed to play on when he was clearly tackled, just seen it on boots n all the tries. its comical. he's about 4 yards away (10/10 mr thaler for keeping up with play) but to say play on is a joke, scott murrell went to marker and they had a player waiting for the ptb. then people wonder why some of think its personal with him and rovers.

Briscoe brought Tompkins down but he certainly doesn't look to be held. Tompkins was entitled to get up and play on and the fact the only complaints about it came from the crowd kinda says it all.

I'd be more worried about the terrible marker defence at the next play.

Someone need glasses but it isnt me as Briscoe is still in contact with Tomplins when he is flat on his face with both arms on the ground.

If it was so blatent why no protests from the players at such a key moment in the game?? They're a hell of a lot closer to the action than you or i, yet not one dickie bird from them.
