Most likely:

When done between a half and a winger it is usually practice asked for by a coach, when it is clearly people messing about kicking bombs for each other when their usual pre-match consists of walking around the pitch focused and chatting to their positional partner about the pitch etc you could see why a Coach of an opposing team would think they were taking things lightly.
Seem to remember Fev fans posting stuff about Coaching staff playing kick ups before a game last season when they got smashed at home by Haven. This season the same thing is happening before a game yet I have not seen one post about the staff spending too much time showboating instead of preparing the players.
I suppose if Rovers had won Agar would of had to begrudgingly admit that Rovers players and staff are super cool. As they didn't he got his chance to have a dig, like most other coaches would of.'"
Other possibilities were keepy-uppies and laying on your back with your bottom in the air and cycling your legs.
Obviously Agar isn't really that thin-skinned, just going for a bit of easy populism on the back of a good win - and who can blame him, with the amount of stick he endures?
I suspect Newton was responding in kind, althought with the fact he was a target and his professionalism was
questioned, it might have been a bit more of a genuine chomp.
