Think we may see Millsy over the coming two weeks when this Easter period kicks in, if not then I feel Morgan will be making a mistake as his fresh legs and in my opinion dependable defence will be a refreshing sight.

hes heartless, for such a big guy he should be knocking defenders over like skittles, and as for his dependable defence, he hasnt got a big hit in him.
IMHO hes one of JM's biggest mistakes, esp the 2 year contract ext.

Couldn't agree more, I was gobsmacked when he got it! I thought he would be on his way after one season as he was generally pants in his first.

You taking the mick? His first year he was good and most people said he deserved a new contract however I think everyone expected him to get a 1yr contract not the two given. Since then he's been given little SL game time to even try and impress and the 6 sub apperances he did get he had maybe one poor game and the others he was solid.

Dont know when Millsy slept with Morgans Mrs but he's obviously done something wrong to not get more game time as thats all he needs, an odd game here or there he's never going to make any impact.

If he is given game time let's hope he surprises us all but I very much doubt it. It'll be the same old same old, but another body on the pitch nevertheless.

As for being good in his first year I think you are certainly in the minority with that opinion. I think we are covering old ground on this thread but yes, he had one or two fans who have had a go a me in the past for criticising him but when he plays, apart form the odd moment the generally mumblings and grumblings in the East Stand around me indicate huge disappointment and frustration at the lack of impact and aggression from a man of his size. Again only time will tell.

Fair play Millsy for trying to drum up some support on here and remind the KR fans who you are

Should have kept Danny Ward (if we'd known what was coming the other way) could be worse, could have kept Jim Gannon!

Jim Gannon has gone on to Captain one of the best NL teams.
Danny Ward was a scapegoat on many occasions for not being the cannon ball he was at Leeds and not doing what his dad did (just like Millsy gets).

And if its a minority that thought he didnt do enough in his first season that minority includes Morgan! Mills is unfortunate that he was given such a big frame, he does pretty much the same as what Jason Netherton does, safe in defence a simple drive forward yet we always say how much we miss Netherton when he doesnt play! Half a foot shorter a couple of kg lighter he wouldn't get this criticism!

Nope. You'd assume he'd want some game time to put himself in the shop window for a NL contract next year. We can't and shouldn't expect anybody in the lower divisions to contribute more than a token amount to his wage - and we gain nowt by letting him rot in the stands. If someone offered him a month, Rovers should allow him that opportunity IMO.

I agree. I feel a bit sorry for the bloke TBH. It must be hard watching from the sidelines week after week.

Christ knows why you're so desperate to get him, it'll take more than one of your, ahem, "Special Products" to liven the buggah up into perhaps breaking a tackle.



He's supposedly had plenty of chances to sling his hook, including apparently to go to Crusaders in the off season. Fair enough, it'd have been on a reduced contract to the one he's currently on at Rovers but if he'd actually got his finger out and played somewhere near to how he did in his first season at Rovers they might have been stupid enough to offer him another full time deal for 2011. As it is, he's spent two years of a very time limited career doing nothing and he'll be lucky to end up at Hunslet Hawks (no offence intended) earning fifty Queens a week with a pork pie win bonus.

It's his own fault.
