Can anyone suggest some pubs along/near Hedon Road. Husband's ship is calling in to Alex. Dock from Aberdeen and the crew will need refreshment after a hard day in Dry Dock. Sportsman has been recommended, any good? Thanks.

Sportsman is good - live music at weekends Sat nights usually .... drinking pubs - try Kingston Arms on Thomas Street - there are a few pubs round there too - Blacksmiths Arms or Chambers on Holderness Road - willhe be here for the game ?

Thanks, unfortunately he supports the 'Dark Side', and will only go to C.P. 'Over his dead body'.................. arrangements can be made! But hey ho not everyone's perfect.

I, on the other hand will happily trample the weak and hurdle the dead to be there.

I think they may slightly too 'mature' (old) to go into town!!

So you have got one of those as well....... mine is banned from C.P. - he went once - we lost .... end of story.... only allowed to give the girls a lift to the game but still has to stop the car on Preston Road - don't want him too near the hallowed ground!!!!!!! Do get my own back - number plate on car is HKR !!!!
