best game yet in a rovers shirt - really looked the part tonight

Best player on the pitch for you guys tonight imo. Although must mention Dobbo had a good kicking game. Was disappointed with Joel not as handsome as some of his pictures and he looks fat

There is a facial hair issue that needs addressing promptly. He still looks like Craig Hall next to Newton though.

Maybe the facial hair issue will improve things, maybe needs to grow his hair a bit as well and also consider slimming world and take Newton as a buddies.

Ade Gardiner is still clearly the front runner

I thought he has a really good game tonight, as did Watts.

I like a man carrying a bit of timber, personally. Ade is in the top 5 in SL for sure, but I think Moobs will top the table if he can manage a shave and stints of more than 9 minutes.

You are probably right needs more than 9 minutes, hope he can manage at least 20 minutes for the derby, the Ogre will no doubt want to give him a shave

He came in really to replace Cooke and did really well. Do you think Morgan will persist with him ahead of Cooke?

I've rated Chaz since first seeing him in the reserves and said at the time that lad will eventually be a better all round player than Paul Cooke.

Thought he was our MOTM tonight, well played to the lad. watts had a good game as well.

Is Chaz classed as homegrown or not?
I counted 3 homegrown SL players players tonight Chaz would make that 4 but im not sure.

To be fair, its more a case of if he'll persist with him ahead of Webster as Cooke has been used at 13 rather than off half.

Personally I would keep him in the side, but I'd certainly have Cooke at 13 too.

Not bad for a club that has been in the top league for only a short period of SL's 15 year history and a club who apparently only plays lip sevice to the whole homegrown issue eh!

Very impressed with I'anson tonight. Like all the homegrown players, it would be great to seem develop into a regular first-teamer. Watts also had a good game, I thought.
Good result, but I thought Rovers missed or dropped off a lot of tackles. Cas looked really dangerous spinning the ball out wide - we had Murrell burrowing over and 3 tries from kicks. They all count the same, of course, but we aren't looking as fluent as last year yet.

Did well tonight IMO.

Was impressed by Chas tonight, agree with Trace that it was his best game in a Rover's shirt!

Had a good game, looks like he could be a good prospect.

I have always been a doubter of his, but I hold my hand up and say that he had a great game last night.
Kicking game was great, threw a few dummys and linked well with dobbo.

Had a good game last night, still looks a little under strength and maybe a yard short of pace to me. I thought he got stopped pretty easily when he nearly crashed over just after half time.

His time at Leeds doesn't count then????
