| Finally we have started to use Cookies kicking ability!
A lot of changes to his game were on display today and the one I was most pleased about was that they finally seem to be using his ability to get distance on kick-offs and penalties.
He also looked sharp with ball in hand today, probably the best he has played in years.

Fully agee. I would also prefer to use his drop outs from the sticks, because he certainly has the distance on Dobson. Saying that i think Dobbo should definitley keep the goalkicking duties....100% today, and none were easy.

| Good point about the drop outs, am i right in thinking we didn't have to take one today?
Perhaps he will take over these too.

| Their first try came from 35yrds out and their second was from 95yrds out other than that they hardly touched our 10, so not really any chances for drop outs today but I agree when we do have them to do we should use Cooke

| He looks like he's lost that gut that he's always traditionally had, looked very fit and more toned today. Looks good for the HKR campaign.

| For me Cooke was MOTM today, he was outstanding in attack and defence and I totally agree about the kicking, everyone was crying out for it last season and finally Morgan has seen sense.

Did we!
I can recall a few times yesterday when we got penalties in our own 30 area and he barely got 10 m advantage, leaving the pack a lot of work to do to get upfield.

| he went well today, kicking, running and as said above he looked a lot fitter. and did you spot him chasing back when they scored the interception try? a pretty good all round show from him.

| The most pleasing thing for me yesterday with regards Cookes performance was the sight of him waving and shouting for the ball when we were in strong attacking positions, and the players then ensuring that the ball got straight to him. That didnt happen last season and it will make us a far more potent attacking force when we get our timing right and the grounds firm up.

Good, as long as the club benefits I couldn't care less why he's trying. If it carries on give him another year and keep him fresh..

| When I read the title I thought it was a trolling thread.
Good to see he is doing o.k.
Just hope the git has a stinker when he plays us.

| Always thought he'd be more effective at 13. I'd only move him back in the halves if Dobson picks up an injury.
