Also won't cost a fortune. I think there's still improvement in Netherton. In our debut SL season I thought he was coming on in leaps and bounds until he got injured (iirc).

| Glad to hear.  Despite the positive comments on here, Netherton does seem to get stick/criticised sometimes at games, but IMO he's a very solid and committed player, and superb definisively (maybe it's this which perhaps goes unnoticed by some critics?).

| Im chuffed he is staying, if we let him go we would only end up signing a similar standard or type of player anyway. I think the fans who know something about the game value Nev greatly, although i have noticed some in the East standing giving him a bit of stick. One day they will realise that not every player can break tackles for fun and make massive hits with a load of tries to their name, and that the hard work players like Nev do allows the flash plays and allows others to take the glory. Am i rambling?   |

Was glad to hear this news. Good squad player, gets his head down and gets on with the job. It annoys me when I hear him being criticised by a minority of our fans. Thankfully, they are a minority.
