Who knows, but it will be interesting to see how the 50:50 decisions go. Anything contentious going to Leeds will only prompt our fans to give him a full volley.

It'd also be interesting to know how JM's barrage will have affected his decision making. Anything goes with Thaler. He used to be a decent ref, but has been in decline this year and last.

I will not be going because of this appointment,as he has ruined too many previous games with his obvious bias.

im sure Mr Thaler will ref this game to the best of his ability, unfortunatly that best is awful...

course i have, and personally i think hes top class ( compared to Tierry Halibert anyway )

what im saying is you cant go into a game worrying who the ref is, youve just gotta play to your game plan and HOPE hes gets his side of things right

The thing is regardless of how he refs he will get abused by our lot, I've seen decent referees with no history with us get absolutely slaughtered by our fans for penalising our players for ill discipline.

We have a fair few who see no wrong in our play and scream for invisible offences against the opposition.

Hopefully he has a better game then he has previously but if we lose I can guarantee it'll be his fault regardless of the circumstances.

this could be a blessing, he will be closely watched - not just by us but i reckon the RFL also.

Why not actually cheer his name and see if we get any better calls in this game? Must be worth a try at least. Compared to booing the ref as he runs down the east stand before any decisions have even being made
