Only the RFL could do this to themselves. If the guy makes a genuine error and Wire win because of it what will happen.
Its a dumb rule to allow refs to officiate their hometown clubs. |

I don't know why Bentham puts Warrington after his name, the guy is actually from Leigh. Do you have to put a Super League club down as your home town club?

It's only a matter of time before we get Thaler again. I bet it's against Huddersfield away, on SKY, and he will follow up the worst refereeing performance with one equally abysmal just to prove 'I don't get intimidated by people saying i'm , i'll prove it to you anyways'

He lives in Warrington but he is a Leigh fan - or at least his old man is a season ticket holder at Leigh.
Bentham is a decent guy and I'm really thankful we got him in the NL1 GF instead of Thaler/Silverwood and the like. |

Im lead to beleive we were due Thaler for the Cas match and as such we ended up with a NL Ref!!
Make of it what you will but i cant see Thaler near one of our games anytime soon!! |
