| He got penalised far too often on Sunday for mine; he needs to let the oposition players get up and play the ball not keep laying on. He could have easily got 10 minutes.

Shot out of the defensive line far to much for my liking aswell.

Lets not just pick out Webster for this, we was defensively poor on both wings, alot of bad decisions. But credit Warrigton, they looked dangerous when attacking us out wide and its where they found roughly all of their success after finding us very hard to break down in the middle of the park.
Webster has been in fine form over the last month IMO and had an off day in defence but like I said, he wasnt the only one.

Fully agree, he has been much improved and looks like getting back to the form he should be showing. Bad day for him yesterday, the attack seemed to have the better of him most of the afternoon. Wire seemed to have picked him out as a target going into the game.

| I think Tony Smith should be given some credit our centres have been jumping out of the line a lot just latley and Smith has obviously done his home homework and spotted the potential weakness which once the centres have committed themselves leaves the flanks exposed. Lets hope the coaching staff, and I am sure they will have done pick up on this and put it right in training.

| Steady on boys. Webbo's defensive play is second to non. Saved more than a few breaks in our line on Sunday.

He was poor on Sunday though, he just let one in without even trying, admittedly it is not his usual game.

| Been impressed with him in recent weeks, had a bit of a mare on Sunday though.
It's not his tackling that's the problem, I'd go as far to say as he's one of the best one on one tacklers in the team - really hurts them when he gets hold of 'em, it's his shooting out the line leaving Colbon for dead

| I love the fact that we are so good now that we can critisise an international centre.
4 years ago we could only dream of a player of this calibre.

you must of been watching a different game , numerous penalty's given away . Has he been taking lessons from Chev Walker on jumping out of the line?

To me he's not an International Centre , winger is his best position and he wouldn't make the NZ team in that position either.

| chuck him on the wing for this weekend, bet he would do some damage, hes a natural winger anyways not a centre.
hes abit like Matt King in that respect really, same time of player- who would you rather have though?

| One of the reasons Webster left the NRL was because he didnt want to be played on the wing.
One "average" game doesnt mean that one of our most consistent players from recent weeks should be moved around..

In my book, tough were he wants to play, you play were your coach tells you too.
i agree he shouldnt just be moved about as he has done well recently, i personally just think he could do alot of damage with his size on the wing.

So could Mick Vella but it doesnt mean we should play himn there.
Saying we did move Webster to the wing.... Who would you put in his place at Centre?

| talk about over-reacting!!
I think if you study the video you'll see Jake (and Welham at times) was left a bit short-handed and tried his/their best to cut off the attack--which he has been doing fantastically well of late. He is a much improved player this season and deffo doesn't want sticking out on the wing. The team has to slide as a unit to plug the gaps but now and again it needs a centre or winger to shoot out to stop a threat---not shoot out all the time like Chev or Kris has been doing of late. Jake is still the best centre at the club but we need to give him more running attacking opportunities.

On Chris Hicks try where Jake comes out of the line, you will see that its three of them opposite Chris Welham, the only option was for Jake to race out, but unfortunatly there was a very good cut out pass, if not for that, it would of more than likely stopped the move.

Don't get me wrong, I for one envy Jake.
I overheard a couple of idiots talking at CP saying that Chev is much better I was histerical, it made me laugh. Jake is much more reliable then Chev anyday.
