| Ben Galea has got his name written all over the trophy. What a signing he has been, simply outstanding. The best second row pairing in the league by a country mile

| He is very good. But I think referring to him as the best second row pairing is a bit much.

| Ben Galea is Gavin Miller reborn.
Ben Galea for Australia?
Ben Galea has an ability to leave opposition players, (lots of them) on their backsides, while scoring a try.
Is Ben Galea playing the best rugby of his life at the moment?

| Man of the Match by a long long way last night. Am I right in thinking the last two games we've been on Sky he's got MOM (Hull & Warrington)?
Definately one of the best Rovers signings in recent years.

And despite winning 3 Grand Finals the last time a Leeds player was voted MOS was?
Chip on shoulder duly noted but you'll have to get in the queue behind Cas and Wakey!

| Will be Puleteua (sp) or Graham IMO (and not necessarily because I think they've been the best in the comp')

Thing is I think your right, they don't look at players that have all the skill, the sidesteps etc. The two you have mentioned are just big hard runners 95% of the time.

It's possible that the MoS is being judged on the basis of season long perfomances rather than one off games, which might explain the weighting towards Saints. The recent WCC match highlighted the dangers of deciding on SL's best players / teams on the basis of a one off game.

True but to make a GF you generally have to have had a decent season so in the context of MOS award it's hardly a oneoff game is it? You don't generally tend to be in it from outside the top 2.
How do you account for 2004 when we pished the League and won the GF but Fatboy Farrell was adjudged MOS? No doubt pandering to the nostalgia with him leaving for RU. In my opinion it should have been Matt Diskin by a country mile - and then some more. And I still don't know what Roby did to win it in 2007.

Diskin doesn't do himself or his team any favours by continually gobbing off.

| Irrelevant - I'm talking about 2004 and the MOS award. I don't think Disko will be troubling the MOS again due to the nature of his past injuries.
I just hope the MOS winner wins it on merit which hasn't always been the case.
