Welham is getting better all the time , credit to the kid, FC would love him to play for them , theyre just a bit bitter thats all.

I'm not bitter at all, I hope you bring as many potential GB players through your system as possible! His defence is poor but so was Gleeson's at first. I genuinely hope you make a success of your youth structure and ween off all the foreign dispensations.

Don't be a noob, I'm not trying to be condemning. Your fans and our fans both hope you stop relying on foreign imports. I'm happy with Welham's form and hope it continues with Spaven after his brave performance tonight! I'm quite able to recognize your good English blokes with Fox, Murrell and Briscoe all impressing me.

I'm sure all Hull fans are more than happy with Tom Briscoe!

Im sure they would be if he was playing in his favoured position and not looking out of his depth at times playing on the wing.

The only thing I could fault him for is his inability to defend high bombs. The kid is pretty small in height but come on ffs he's only 19. Why do you have to turn everything negative to do with Hull FC? The kid is easily one of the best talents in the league but because he's at Hull he's out of his depth.

Can't agree with that mate. He may be out of position but he most deffo ain't out of his depth.

Out of his depth, at times in defence, yes.
Poor under the high ball and poor positioning at times, play him in his favoured position and you can eliminate some of these problems. It must be a negative to him to not be playing his natural game and having to fill in, in an unfamiliar role in the team.

Is he another one of these 'best talents in the league' players according to most FC fans? Are you not fed up of hyping up your young players only for the majority of them fail to progress as you would hope. Hall and Lee have both not kicked on and Houghton is struggling this season after the amount of hype you guys placed on him from last season. Give them a break!

If Welham cant defend then your obviously watching a different game to me!

I think he has potential but certainly not as a winger at the moment and its possible to ruin his natural game and knock all the kids confidence if things carry on going wrong for him. I have obviously not seen all of FC's games this season but reading on their forum he has been coming up with some vital mistakes.

Houghton struggling?

Welham may not be crap at defence but does miss his share of tackles.

Guess you don't rate Briscoe at all then?

Not getting much game time is he? as good as he may have looked to some of you guys last season, his distribution is still not great and he also finds it hard to dictate a game from dummy half.

Welham has massively impressed me this season!

I do think Briscoe has talent but not as a winger, could do well if given the right opportunities.

Briscoe is doing a great job covering for Raynor, he is always breaking tackles and gaining plwenty or metres for us and also knows where the try line is. Also pretty sound in defence too
