The lad is improving with every single game he plays.
He'll be a real assett to us in the future, he reads the game brilliantly and tackles well above his weight.

Liam (Welham) also looks like one for the future. From what I have seen of him in friendlies etc. he looks like the standout player of his age.

Did both the Welhams play away against Leigh in 2006? I know Kris played and scored but did Liam?

Yeah they both played in that game IIRC.
Kris scored and Liam had one chalked off.

Came off with a dead leg yesterday so may be a doubt for next week.

They are both massive prospects for the future, going back a year or so ago Liam was the better player having gained england rep honours etc, going well in the reserves but still only 20

That succession of hand offs all the way to the line was class. I was certain he was going to be tackled.

A lot of players would've kicked the ball on and hoped for the best be Kris showed great confidence and strength to gather the ball and get over the line. I'd put Kris up there with the likes of Ryan Hall in terms of young English talent.

Better inform SL centres? Not just randmonly naming other SL centres.

Two tries at the weekend, looking quick and strong, getting more of the ball - welham is nowhere near!

Look at the comments on the Bradford board along the lines of "great centre play by Yeaman"

you're entitled to your opinion but the stats clearly show he is one of the form centres in the league

Think you started with that by claiming Welham was the in form centre in Super League!!

As for the Brisbane comment, are you sure they havent come chasing the boy wonder that is Kris Welham - oh no, of course not!! 23 missed tackles in 5 games suggests he is nowwhere near where you claim he is!

Welham is a long way off the finished article, but is becoming an excellent centre and I have no doubt he will progress further, but he needs to do it consistantly over a season or two and is still a long, long way behind the likes of Gidley.

I couldn't care less what Yeaman is or isn't doing. Kris is playing well and playing for us, that's all that matters.

He even puts in the occasional tackle.
