Thoughts on this? He tips Rovers to come 4th and make the GF, which would most likely require a win at Bradford or St Helens, his tips for 2nd and 3rd. When were Rovers' last wins at Knowsley Road and Odsal? I can't recall them winning at Bradford since I started going regularly in 1991.

Seriously, no-body could have predicted that hull would finish 2nd bottom last season, and I do think we have a pretty strong squad, and our backs are looking promising, half backs are looking like theyve formed a decent partnership, and I think we've got a competative pack. Plus a gr8 coach.
As all teams need, we need a good run of consistency and minimal injuries.
Should be an exciting season.

Might be wrong but didnt we beat u there first game of season 91/92. 18-10 i think. George Fairbairns first game in charge.
Cant recall us winning there since but to be fair we didnt visit between 1994-2007!

i think your right TBH, with so many teams all going for the playoffs Rovers will do well to get there and win there first ever playoff game, but if we do win it then well all get a little greedy and want that second win and third too

In answer to the question...Rovers' last win at Bradford was on 1 September 1991 - by 18-10, try-scorers Mike Crane, Graeme Hallas and Bright Sodje.

Prior to that, you'e going back to 1985.

Last win at Saints ? 8-3 in a 1985 Challenge Cup tie with Garry Clark scoring the only try of the game.

Last league win at Saints was the 28-16 win on 4 April 1982, Phil Hogan scoring two tries.
