Not even a one season wonder. Substituted at Wembley and did not even play in the Saints match. The FC reject took his place. According to Cas fans he had been very poor for the last few matches.

Although not the most skilled six we've had at the club, he has plenty of heart which we certainly do need, something resembling a kicking game, which helps; and no fear of taking on the line. OK Mr Hudgell and co. Give me a reason to buy a new season pass. There's a lot of unknowns in the side for next season which are meant to be good but where's the stability or big name signing?

Agree I'd like the spine of our team to be sorted out but to say we have signed unknowns so far is a bit far. Goulding, Sio and Dixon are great signings and on paper at least big improvements. Tyrone McCarthy has won 2 challenge cups and James Donaldson has great potential and Josh Manatello is one of those low risk signings that could pay off if it works out. Keating hadn't worked out like we hoped so can't see how any replacement will do worse and Travis has severely under performed since Sandy left. I'm with you tho we need to know who's gonna be in these pivotal positions but surely Hudge and the board wouldn't of let Hodgson, Burns and Keating go without some sort of contingency plan?

I agree the backs look a lot better. We now look to have some decent finishers and a set of forwards to lay the platform, but with the playmakers it's not going to connect together. We don't necessarily need individual flare, we need someone to command the troops who doesn't need to be involved in every play. Something Travis struggled to do (for all his brave effort and bluster) and Keating didn't even try to.

Administration perhaps? We have to have this discussed every year between September & February, so lets debate.

How are Rovers finances at the moment? That's a good place to start....

Back in the day, we used to complete the squad about a week before the 1st fixture. Never stopped me getting a pass then, it certainly won't now. Have a little faith mate.

Should try and tempt Sam Powell from Wigan, he is a fantastic player, the type you could build a team around.

I agree I've never waited to see who we sign before buying a pass I just but a pass because it's my team whether we've signed Gavin Miller or Phil hasty

My heart will win and I'll end up renewing mine and my son's season pass. Could just do with knowing we had ANY notable playmakers for next season to satisfy the logical side in my head instead of just going on blind hope as normal.

From Durham thats a compliment, his all show is based on winding up people for a reaction, whilst supporting minnows himself peterboro and fc enough said.

This season will only be remembered for one thing and that is the big fat zero next to your name in the derby.

Think both set of fans are glad this seasons over.

Only for FC supporters as that was their cup final and only high point of the season.
