A fair response to the post you were answering - and CS has to bear a large share of the responsibility for the current structure of the squad. However, while we have signed experienced players, a good few more have departed since the end of 2011.
Vella, Newton, Galea, Fisher, Webster, Wheeldon, Briscoe, Fox, Cook, Colbon, Fox, Clinton, Green, Watts, Taylor, Murrell - all with enough experience that their presence in a 17 didn't make you nervous, on that score at least.
McDonnell has come and gone, Netherton gone and maybe come back.
He's signed a few inexperienced players, but he's also more reliant on our own club-trained relatively unproven players. That's why I'd give him a little latitude for now.

Glad he's had some backing from people close to the club - you stand by your man while he's your man.

Yeah ok.'" wow, how much effort have you gone to? you are the love child of mrs bore! no one disputed the actual date the players signed, it's not very often you sign a player on that date without doing months and months of negotiating, which, from my origional list, i stand by my comments that those players listed were recruited with little input from sandy. Regardless of who he did or didn't sign, at the minute, we are pants and on occasions don't look too interestred as a team.

without googling it, iirc JM's position was clarified in the july. NH & co went to aus in the august to interview several candidates with sandy being given the nod in september.
we all know the anti-tampering deadline used to be the 1st sep, but it's widely known that players were touted well before this.

i was under the impression he was here to develop our own youth systems and existing talent, building for the future. it's no secret we don't have the talent pool as the aus teams do.

Speaking as a hull fan, I think CS is doing a great job. The only thing that would make me happier than him staying, would be if McNamara took over.
