For the past couple of months, Mendy and Turner are the only two players to have shown any class and skill. I like Cousin but can't understand why he wasn't played from the start. Brown will live and die by these decisions, here's hoping they stay up.

It certainly had the journos amused .

Usually when it is stated that there is a place for a player after a spat - it often means he's on his way.

Brown is certainly under pressure now , a quick trip to the tanning booth is probably the order of the day to increase his feelgood factor.

And Mendy cant seem to get a game regulalry.

Barmby too keeps playing his socks off and cant get near a starting place normally. Browny keeps making some odd calls currently.

Brown is odd in my opinion. He completely lost the plot on Boxing day at Man City keeping the players on the pitch like a bunch of school kids. Funny old thing we haven't won since before that game. Some of his tactical decisions are strange and his tactical substitutions barking mad. IMO he's lost the dressing room and the players don't respect him anymore. Really hope I'm wrong of course and that we manage to stay up, just can't see it happening at the moment that's all.

Looks like that could be the goal to keep City in the Premiership. Browns job will be safe and Mr Duffen can take his plans forward.

Not safe yet, a number of teams around them also picked up points in the last couple of days. They've got some tough games left. Still have to play Liv, Villa and Man U so likely to be no points there. Bolton and Wigan away are gonna be tough to get points from. Next weekend is a big one, Newcastle at home, beat them and they may well be safe, loose and they're back in the cack. After that they've got Boro, Sund and Stoke to play, need to target these games.

was impressed with Newcastle last night in patches, Martins is a really dangerous player and he will need closing down early!

It's a result that puts the confidence back in and games like that go a long way in deciding what's going to happen... it's strange but there's always drama like last night's game very late on for a team which is struggling which proves to be a turning point.

The game against our lot is being built up as the biggest game of our season on the Newcastle forums. Absolutely crapping it personally.
