To be honest he's been good this year but the previous two seasons he was stealing a wage

| We shouldn't be paying him mega bucks, but I'd be very, very disappointed to see him go.
He's been excellent this year from game one, even though he's an evil ginger.
Deserve's an extension and an upgrade, if he isn't getting that then you have to think as Football Manager, Peacock doesn't think he's worth it.

The contract he's on now is better than he's probably worth so giving him an upgrade is out of the question I would like him to stay on this seasons form but I wouldn't make him a top earner like he is now

| The addition of Goulding taught Welham what a centre's job actually is ......Hopefully, he will realise this and repay Rovers' patience with him and sign a new contract when Rovers could have easily offloaded him and subjected him to Championship rugby for the rest of his career .....Don't let your head swell after a few months of good rugby, Welham!

Well, this is where as always I have to say I know nowt.
I have no idea what players are paid, so perhaps I'd best shut it.
Geoff Tips seams to know though...

| I can't imagine there'll be that big a queue to sign Chris up. He's had a good year but has been far from prolific in the scoring charts and although improved his defence is hardly international standard. Looking round the league most teams have centres who are of equal or better standard.
I wont profess to know his wages etc but taking the above into account and with his testimonial coming up I struggle to see how a move would financially benefit him.

What about Paleaasina? Out of contract and no news of an extended deal with us.

I think a one year deal us about right for him, think he would be a good signing and I would be gutted seeking him play for you.
You should be going all out for Harrison Hansen

Would be a good signing, certainly as a 4th prop better than some props you have, really under used at Hull by Radford.

Tilse was one of my men of the match against both Wigan & Warrington and a massive part of why we are heading to wembley in 17 days. Think your comments are quite disrespectful. You don't play 200 NRL games and not be able to play.
As for Paleaasina, Would I take him in place of Green, Allgood, Tilse & Walker, you'd be mad to IMO. I'd also rather we tried to talk Puletua out of retirement or take Greenwood from Wigan on a fulltime deal.
If the rumour surrounding Kirmond & Clarkson are correct then we'll be a in a strong position in the forwards next year.

200 NRL games yet he couldn't break wind nevermind a tackle, not seen much of this top offloading game yet from him either. Disrespectful or not the guys still got a lot to prove IMO.

| Hull's recruitment for next year, while the names they're bringing in are fairly impressive, their strategy for signings is quite bizarre. If there was one place you would say that Hull didn't need to strengthen it is back row. With Ellis and Minichello their two best players, backed up by Westerman, Thompson, Whiting, Sa (leaving I know), Turgutt and Abdull it would seem like this is an area that could have been neglected in this window in order to strengthen other positions. Instead they've brought in Manu, Pritchard and Washbrook. That leaves Ellis, if he recovers, Minichello, Westerman, Thompson, Whiting, Turgutt, Pritchard, Abdull, Washbrook and Manu vying for 3 spots.
Even if Ellis and Thompson are accommodated into the front row and Westerman gets sent to wherever will have him, they have a real embarrassment of riches in this position and still have one knackered old stand off and a very hit and miss scrum half. I don't get it.
All we want is a team of Lee Radfords?

I was just going to type exactly the same thing, it's like if we signed a couple of wingers and a scrum half? good for depth etc but need to patch the places you're weak in first. I wonder if Radford has accidentally picked up Chris Chesters recruitment list!!

| FC recruitment does usually look OK, but then falls flat on its face the following season, but that's their problem. Apparently some news by HDM in the morning, Clarkson? Puletua? Lunt? Welham? Cockayne?

I think both players presented their own individual risks when they signed for their respective clubs.
Campese with his well publicised injury history.
Pryce who has always IMO been very hit and miss and no matter who he played for had the potential to go missing for large portions of a match.
After seeing both play this season, i would choose Campese over Pryce every time. Campese runs the game from minute 1-80, whereas like i said Pryce could go missing for most of Minutes 1-80.

Good post, but that wasn't my point, the poster claimed that Pryce was knackered, when in fact he has played more games than Campese this year.
I agree with you, but they play different roles, both have been free signings for their clubs and it's a shame that both got season finishing injuries.
