So, if indeed Josh is announced as a Canberra raider this week then who would we like to replace him (realistically)? Worth taking a punt in terms of fitness on Scott dureau and moving keating to hooker?

There is not many who can replace him, more who will take his place TBH. We are stuck with Keating, so it might be worth a punt as hooker and bring in a new 7. Dureau is a good half, so he would be a good signing but would we have the quota spot free.

Can't blame the lad for giving it a go, he's a huge loss for us but I wish him all the luck in the world and hope that he has a long and successful career in the NRL.

Looks like he is jumping out of the pan in to the fire and a lot hotter fire at that but good luck to him he is going to need it

Good luck to the lad & I now hope he will get the recognotion he deserves. I watched the Raiders on TV this week the hookers they had out looked handy, Buttress & Baptieste one of them must be moving on to another club? hope we have the option to sign him back if he comes home.

Pleased for the lad. I'm sure if 1 of Roby or McIllorum were available he'd have missed out, but with McBanana's obsession with anyone playing NRL, he will be a shoe in next season.

Regarding SM's clear high regard for NRL based players, has Mike Cooper made a bit of an impact out there? I don't follow the NRL, but kind of assumed he'd be fringe player over there mainly playing reserve grade. Good on him if he's playing regularly in first grade. Decent, solid player but not much more than that at Warrington, I thought.
