gutted for the bloke, hate seeing things like that but im 100% convinced he will be back playing super league. remember the guy from cas who did the same, was it price the winger? he came back and iv had a mate do the same and come back, granted not super league but still played again.

Best of luck to him. He has a few things in his favour. 1. the injury was quite high up and is hopefully a break of the shin bone without damage to the ankle, 2. He didn't seem to have too much blood on his sock so hopefully left all the major blood vessels intact (massive for the healing of the break), 3. he's a trooper as he must have been in huge discomfort but didn't even wince.

I really hope he comes back quickly and that Rovers do him proud in their next match as they did tonight. The scoreline doesn't show the endeavour, guts and steel of the KR players tonight.

This experience will stand you in good stead.

As a Leeds fan but rugby league fan first and foremost, I would like to send my regards to Chev and his famiy.

Just got back from the match and seen it on Sky. I hope to see Chev back on the field as soon as possible.

I've not been Chev's biggest fan but I truly hope he can make a full recovery and then put his bad luck with injuries behind him.

With only one year left on his contract and much of that possibly now spent in recuperation one wonders where he and the club go from here.

Hope Chev is ok, as a Southstander it was horrendus to see so close up, the reaction of Senior and Hall showed just how serious it was, and that seemed to filter through to the crowd. Great to see both sets of players almost form a guard of honour and applaud him, from where we were you could see the ambulance arrive only 4-5 mins after it happened so that is obviously going to help him by gettin him the medical care early.

Fantastic from both sets of fans, reminds everyone why this game is so great.

There is a report on sky sports text that he has had it opperated on tonight and that it was an open fracture wher the bone came through the skin, hopefuly he should be on the road to recovery soon, all the best of luck again to him and HKR.

I hope he does get back to playing again and that it doesn't end his career. Kevin Ward's career at Saints ended because of a compound fracture. Respect to a very tough lad, playing the hardest sport there is

Sickening injury, was stood right near the screen with my little sister who is 14, she saw it and screamed. Hope he can make a speedy recovery, and can walk again, let alone play a game of RL.

Contrast the reaction of the Leeds fans to a serious injury of an opposition player this evening when compared to the ambulance 'chants' that Ryan Bailey was subjected to by numerous Robins fans, when he was carried off in a neck brace after a similar lengthy suspension in play at Craven Park earlier in the season ?

Hope Chev makes a speedy recovery. Not usually a fan of Senior but he acted really quickly tonight and made sure that tha game was stopped.

No injury to a player, however serious is good, but tonights response from fans made me proud to be a rugby league fan. Fans usually all applaud an injured player but for the Leeds and Hull KR fans to both sing There's only one chev walker - well it brought a tear to my eye.

And dont anyone tell me that rugby league isn't the hardest game.... to applaud fans when u have a bone sticking out of your leg is unbelievable.

That goes without saying and hope it is some point in to not-too-distant future that Chev Walker is playing again.

If you had a 60% influx of new fans, tons of them would be morons. Same has happened to Hull. It's times like this when we ignore the morons and group together as real RL fans and express our collective sympathy.

Leeds have had plenty of dodgy moments in the past, including singing "Down with your trawlers". I don't hold you responsible for that, because like most of us, you're probably a genuine RL fan.
