In some cases it can lead to officials shying away from making a big (but correct) call (Ben Westwood would probably have gone if there wasn't an 'On Report' option, for example). With something like this though, it's perfect. The only person in the ground who will have know what happened, before looking at a replay, was Briscoe, so rather than the officials having to make a call based on no evidence, they can refer it to hopefully make sure than the correct punishment is meted out.

Briscoe is a fine fullback and always gives 100% but given the option of the two we had at Hull I am glad we kept Motu, injuries apart.

Opinion is still divided amongst the Hull fans on the Briscoe/Tony debate , with many still questioning the latters ability under the high ball.

Of course Tony does offer more of a utility option , which appeared to be more important to Peter Sharp.

Opinion is very much divided, they both are quality players and tbh it matters not about who is in the minority/majority, we have Motu and that is all the counts.

Because I was told by an Australian player that while Lee Smith is on the team sheet England/GB will never win any major trophies!
