I will be taking part in the on line lottery/scramble for tickets on Friday morning. I don't rate my chances, but I can console myself having seen them previously if I fail.

It took me 2 hours of constant trying to get Heaton Park tickets 3 years ago for Oasis, demand will be higher for this, and less tickets, as Oasis released a whole bunch of dates for that tour. These are the only gigs announced so far. Good luck with your procurement.

doing a full world tour aswell so maybe announcing some more british dates and were did you see them play

Some friends of mine went to the Spike Island gig, they asked if i wanted to go, couldn't be bothered. Error.

I went to that, was absolutely great.
My only reservations about the reforming is that even at their peak they weren't exactly a great live band. It was all more about the time and the occassion and something that was 'ours'. It will be a decent bit of nostalgia but I fear it will tarnish the name of probably the second most influential band of my generation.

Not good for me, I'll be waiting to see if they play Aus.

Not sure about that all i know is that it is being shown on 'getmein' but nothing yet on ticketmaster.

More heavy metal myself, but Steps would be prefrable to that ugly Mancunian gobpoop Brown anyday.

Never been into the Stone Roses but best of luck for anyone trying to get tickets.

For that mate I recommend the Gingerman Rock Revival Day, live from 3pm-7pm at The Dram Shop, Hull on Saturday 5th November - and it's free entry.

By 'live' I don't mean live bands - but a live DJ playing a great mix of rock and metal classics.

stream as being an acid head or a hippy and an all round bad egg. These
same people now will be the ones that mop up the tickets!

Unfortunately thats seems to be the case now, too many people who want to make their youth seem 'cool' by jumping on a bandwagon that sailed years ago.
In '89 I had a mop top, baggy jeans and a pair of green gazelles that I picked up for £15 from arco. everyone thought I was a bit odd, 5 years later the pretend roses (oasis) hit the scene and everyone suddenly bought the 1st roses album and thought it was a new thing.

Saw the total stone roses at fruit a few weeks back, they're pretty good from what I can remember.

Expect these tickets to be going for £300 by Friday afternoon.
