Everyone is rightly confident of their own squad at the start of the season, I believe our backs to be better than yours and our mobile pack will stand up strong, with the addition of our halves I too am confident that we will come away with another 2 points, might even have a bet on it being a big margin

He missed 4 first and it was the man in the background to the left that had taken our sole dropgoal attempt, such was his 'i am' ego. Not that this one game makes Briers better than Dobbo? The stats speak for themselves over the season, that was a challenge cup game.

Oh don't be so precious. As Easty says, you like to "laugh out loud" at comparisons between Briers and Dobson, good for you. This is simply redressing the balance a tad in what was in fact this pivotal kicking moment between the 2 teams in the last few years and one in which both Dobson and Briers participated.

Dobson did not participate in that 'pivotal kicking moment' between the two teams, it was Cooke. The whole team were f***ed and we go into position only once, Cooke missed. Your spin does not make Briers better than Dobson, nor does your infatuation with Rovers.

We lost and so what, Briers is the drop goal king. I look back at that game with fondness. Although I'm a Rovers fan watching Morley dismantle Rovers from the 70th minute onwards was a pleasure. That was some of the best forward play I've ever seen on a rugby pitch.

She is not even worth a reply. I have stayed off this forum for ages, recently I have popped on for a read and I'm remembering why I stayed away. SL dream team two years running says Dobbo is the better half back. Would Wire release Briers to get dobson, I would say so, would HKR release Dobson to get Briers, no way.

Not taking away from Briers being a good player, but he is surrounded by a better team than Dobbo, which makes him look better. Dobson is the best half back in SL.

Now if you'd said who was the better referee or foot stomper then it'd have been abother story.

Briers can play on one leg and still be better than Dobson!
