You're right. It is just you. All normal people can see it's just an ugly shirt, with no creative input required other than reversing the colours of the 2010 Tonga jersey, with shorts the pattern of which doesn't link to the shirt. Apart from that it's splendid.

To be fair though it's one of those shirts where the pictures don't do it justice, it looks miles better when you see it close up.

Mirrored and colours reversed, thankyou very much. Not exactly bespoke I admit, but I don't think it is ugly. That could be because I'm not normal, in fairness. But unless you only wanted a traditional design I don't see a problem. Did that Tonga shirt attract a lot of flak?




The colouring of the sponsors logo appears to be an important part of their branding. Inconveniently those colours match those that are normally used for the band. We did a white band this year, the hi-band was used in 2009, so a sash in this direction works.

looking at the picture above; it looks like Josh is wearing a fans version and not a players skin tight version, and it looks great IMO.

Also whats happened to his shoulder.... looks out of place or; we have the horrid rock hard version of the SL badges on the arms again. (suppose its better then iron on though!)

Elsewhere it seems to have gone down well and seeing it will predominately Rovers fans buying it i doubt anyone will to be to bothered what a few of the usual suspects on here think.

I like the look of the shirt and will be getting one. It is a far better effort than the 2010 shirt in my opinion which i chose not to purchase.

Sorry to say the club has done it again, I did not buy last years & unless it grows on me I wont buy this one. Hull Kingston rovers play in a white shirt with a red HORIZONTAL band across the chest. Why has some art school reject been allowed to mess around with our traditional shirt? I am hoping that the away shirt is better or the club will miss out on my cash again this year.( At least our friends across the city usualy stick with thier iconic & traditional iregular black & white stripes.)

I tried the away shirt option in 2008 (I think) the first blue one. Wasn't bad, still wouldn't wear it anywhere other than to a game but it just felt weird not wearing red and white.

Although some are swinging the lead the problem is that people communting to their place of work is a lot more the norm than it used to be.
So instead of a walk from Stoneferry road to Hessle road as an example they now have to get to Leeds.
In this weather that is a completly different kettle of fish.

Digger the dog u actually don't have a clue bout why people might be of I've been unwell this week so to get to the shops is a good half an hour walk as my car is stuck, I work very hard in my job caring for people so don't tie every one with the same brush you just presume that were all lazy so next time pls don't just presume simples.
