whoooaaa..hang on in there just one darn cotton-picking minute...cast your minds back to a time before Club Rovers which has cost you £65 so far...in the time before I used to get my Season Pass at a reduced rate just by buying it early during the special offer period AND also get a discount off a replica shirt in the shop....all without having to fork any up-front money to anybody.
Back then, your season pass was your priority membership, e.g. for cup/play-off tickets, promotions etc etc, whereas now I get effectively penalised for not wanting to be a Club Rovers member whilst still being a full price paying season pass holder yet now enjoying zero benefits.

Agree totally, Rather disapointed with this but looks like weve got to like it or lump it because its not going to change and others will follow suit.

So £115 there of stuff there if you include the £10 you will gain in discount from the club shop if you renew before august the 8th all for a total layout of £65. What a fleece

No, I mean it cost me £60 last year, as in past tense. I have no idea if its full, or indeed if there is a capacity limit to it.

You get no benefits from being a passholder? It begs the question why do you buy one?
It was easy to give priority benefits to passholders back in the day, as we had 1500 passholders and that was a low enough number to offer them a priority on ticket purchases etc. Now we have 6500 passholders you can't use it to differentiate.
Club Rovers has saved me money, as it has with many other members despite the attempts on here and the other forum to rubbish it. It may well have been born out of cash flow requirements ( I really have no idea), but given this 2nd year freeze in pass prices, I think its been proven to represent value for money in the long term.

in response:
(1) My season pass guarantees my East Stand place until such a time that Club Rovers members fill the stand thus forcing me out as they will get priority purchase and renewals...I shall retract slighly my claim that I receive zero benefit as it is still cheaper to buy a pass than pay for individual match day prices for every game.
(2) Priority benefits. If Club Rovers reaches 6500 how will the club differentiate priority offers as according to your own statement such a number would be too large to do so.
(3) Club Rovers has saved you money. This really depends on which of 2 possible comparators you are using.
Comparator number 1 will measure the real difference between the current scheme with the previous system of season pass sales etc...thus showing that there is now no difference with what we had with what we've got other than the expectation to pay upfront and continue subscribing...ergo no real additional benefits but with increased costs.
Comparator number 2 will measure the current scheme with the hypothetical situation of there being NO discount scheme at all for early purchase etc. In this situation everyone's season pass will be full price - no exceptions - and no shop discounts or other benefits...it is therefore a benefit to become a Club Rovers member in this situation.
Each to their own etc etc...but I can only truly compare the Club Rovers scheme with the preceding situation as run without complication for many years. However, some seem to see merits of a scheme that only delivers any financial benefit when measured against a hypothetical situation which did not exist previously. You are only getting the discount on your pass that you always got, you are only receiving a shirt discount that you received in the past anyway etc etc.
It is false economics to measure the cost of a pass through Club Rovers membership against the full cost of a pass, as most passes were purchased at a discount price anyway under the "old" early purchase scheme.
Hull KR have gone backwards off the field, this scheme is a joke, the retail operation is an embarrasment, the whole marketing/merchandising arm of the club is amateurish at best.

| Just renewed ours, 3 comming to the same address but it wouldn't let you do all 3 together, a call to Rovers and it was confirmed all 3 have to be done seperately.... IE.. £5 admin and £3 postage per pass.... mind, they have put a tenner bonus in each club rovers account.

Sounds like it's worked out the same as me mate (except just two here). At first I thought the £3.50 charge was a bit of a con, but considering (like you said) we get £10 added to card it's decent overall.
Hey O/T you been to Adelphi near you lately? If so would you recommend any particular weekday night?

| Roofs, only been in once and that was many many moons ago, don't really stray to far away from the bin, so can't really help on that one.
EDIT.
O/T... My nephew has let us down again by arranging a charity match a Hayworth park this weekend but not letting us know until this week, hence i've not really bothered advertising it, but if you or anyone else fancies it, it's this Sun, 11am Woman supporters of east Hull V Hull Isberg, 12pm Men supporters of east hull v Hull Isberg, both tag. Then at 1 it's Hull KR supporters V Hull FC supporters, Fun fare rides allday from 10 am,face painting, bbq, tombola, all the usual stuff. I believe the CC semi final(Warrington v Catalans Dragons) will be on in the club house. I've also heard the ref for the game has got a slight injury from this weekend, so if he is unfit, Mr B.Thaler has offered his services.

Hey noticed they've been a while on that pub on corner near Heron, looks like will be done out smartly though.
Reason was asking about Adelphi was am thinking of going out Cott Road/Newland Ave area next Tuesday or Wednesday, maybe head to Haworth area.
Re passes, does seem pretty complicated the way they've done it (esp if you're inexperienced with using the net), but it works out well if you're a CR member and buy this week.
'"
Pub near Heron is now open,The Review, looks Ok but i won't be darkening it's doors for a couple of reasons, mainly, a couple of friends that have been in paid £10.50 for three lagers (£3.50 a pint) and it's not even Carling. Due to my shift pattern i don't go out during the week (this week been an exception) but i'm led to believe it's pretty quiet, like most places, during the week, especially now the students have gone home. If you want a late drink, Fusion is open until 2 everynight, inc Sundays.
Passes, Agree, it's a bit complicated for the less computer savvy, but i think next week you can get them over the counter, although not sure what benefit you lose out on.

I might be wrong but i think you only get the 1000 Team Card points if you buy on line which is equivalent to the old £10 off voucher on a shirt you used to get.
