| Can anyone remind me of the play off criteria after the first round of matches....that (daft) rule which allows certain placed clubs to "pick" their next opponents ?

| Saints
Leeds
Rovers
Hudds
Wigan
Cas
Wakey
Wire
Would be my top-eight.
Though Rovers have already played Saints, Wigan & Bradford away from home and not lost any so I think there's a chance we could nick the league leaders shield with a bit of luck.

| Quote ="andyed-wiganrl"Wonder wat everyones predictions would be now?!?! HKR top 3 finish I recon which would be a great effort...the way things are goin i recon
1. Saints
2. Leeds
3. HKR
4. Wigan
5. Huddersfield
6. Castleford
7. Bratfut
8. Dull
Should make for some interestin Play offs i recon?!?! Thoughts on the top 8?'"
I'm going with -
Saints
Rovers
Leeds
Wigan
Huddersfield
Wire
Bradford
Hull
Rovers still have yet to fully hit their straps imo and i think there is still more to come from them. I don't think Leeds are the threat many say they are and i think Wigan are deffo top 4 material. Huddersfield rely heavily on winning the wrestle and thier tactics are dependant more on referee interpretation than anything else. Bradford and Wire both have enough quality to make the 8 and i think Hull also have enough about them to make the 8 though it will be dependant on getting some of their key players back on paddock.

I'd be happy with a league finish above 7th, anything beyond that would be a bonus.'"
Isn't it weird how ambitions have changed in such a short space of time.
Survive, consolidate, challenge.
What will the numbers be next Saturday Neil.

The progress KR have made is fantastic. About 5 years ago I remember watching you in NL1 (think it was around the time you had harvey howard as HC which was slightly baffling to say the least ) and you we'rent even close to challenging for honours in that division, and never looked as though you'd get anywhere near SL!!
A massive proportion of your success has to be put down to Justin Morgan IMO who i think has proved himself as one of the top 10 coaches in the world, despite his age. If only we could steal him off you at wigan

To be fair to Harvey Howard his recruitment was preety good (Webbo, Tangles etc.) but his management skills were pretty much nil.

| Quote ="Dicky Ticker"I agree but I believe the one man responsible for the clubs success has to be Neil Hudgell. He always takes a back seat as far as credit is concerned but our rise in fortunes coincides with him becoming Chairman of the club! Neil appointed Justin, Neil backed Justin when he had a clear-out of some long standing and popular players and has backed him since. I recall him him saying after our 60-20 defeat at home to Warrington in our first season in Super League that it was time for a complete overhaul of the side rather than just tweaking one or two positions and hence our current team! He is to us what Adam Pearson was to Hull City and I don't think he gets the credit he deserves, especially in the media, although I do I believe the KR fans really appreciate what he has done for the club!'"
Hudge's vision has been the catylist to our march up the tables.

| Quote ="miscreant"In answer to the question...Rovers' last win at Bradford was on 1 September 1991 - by 18-10, try-scorers Mike Crane, Graeme Hallas and Bright Sodje.
Prior to that, you'e going back to 1985.
Last win at Saints ? 8-3 in a 1985 Challenge Cup tie with Garry Clark scoring the only try of the game.
Last league win at Saints was the 28-16 win on 4 April 1982, Phil Hogan scoring two tries.
Hope this helps
'"
last league game win at sts was this year and we have come close a few times and beat them at home aswel so to have beaten the twice in the 2 and a bit years in super league that is good we drew with bradford at your place this year and bradford had there stongest team of the season out. plus its this year that counts the past doesnt win games for teams thats why we are changing our record books this year
