I cannot believe AS hasn't posted any further pictures. Weeks and months of posting pictures of fences/bins/mud/crucifixes and general tat ... and now the actual frame work of the stand is near enough sorted - no pics. You've let your country down. You've let yourself down. And most importantly you've let Easty down.

Moving on. From pics posted so far it's impossible to accurately gauge where the stand starts/finishes on the eastern side. However, the western side appears to start more or less where the plans indicate it should be (parallel with the RM stand). Wherever the stand's final footprint location is, it matters not. It's getting built that way and I highly doubt it's not gonna' change now.

At least it'll give the Barcodes an excuse not to attend the derbies, "its off centre, I'll get neck ache!"

Where will the disabled pen go? If it isn't entirely perpendicular to the tryline then I don't want to know.

been a builder/joiner myself we do have a word for customers like you which i cant say because of the AUP but i do see you in a different light now but i will say one thing that after years of planning do you think they have just put it in the wrong place and nobody but you realises it this is why builders will hate you

When builds of this size are done.... they don`t use a wonky tape measure and piece of chalk, you will find that they use laser measuring systems and they they will be precise down to the millimetre for the steelwork... so you can rest assured that it will be precisely as is stated in the planning application(depending on what draft was finally approved).

On a serious note, we really need to get the disabled facilities bang on, the current (and I hesitate to use the term facilities) one's are ridiculous.

If you remember, part of the delay on the North Stand (and East extension) was that the plans had to be re-submitted to incorporate disabled accomodation within the stand and not just down the front (or in a separate smoking shelter).

I see you completely missed the... Ah, never mind.

I remember there being some issues around the type of automatic doors and possibly the number of toilets.

I've had a very quick look for the plans but can't seem to be able to locate them.

Either the plan we have been shown is wrong or the build is wrong, yes!

Not many builders around these days that take pride in the work they do, time is the most important thing to builders...................and cups of tea!



I have noticed lots of mistakes when I have had work done on my house, just because you are a builder does not make you super human!!

Builders "hate me" because I won't let them get away with "doing it on the cheap".

And looking at this build, I won't be asking Hobson & Porter do anything for me in the near future!

We need a pic from the south stand to give the full impact.

It looks perfectly accurate to me.

If our pitch is 100m long than this makes the width of the pitch on this plan 70m.

Is our pitch 70m wide?

The pitch will have to be moved or narrowed to balance it up!

your generalization of builders is out of order really the fact of the matter is if i do a bad job you get called back so i make sure i do a good job its my LIVING SAME AS 99% of builders thats why i get repeat custom . You are starting to remind me of the harry enfield character you dont wanna do it like that you wanna do it like this
