Adam has got better and better this season. He's dominated his opposites in most games and certainly gave O'Meley a torid time in the derbies.Sandercock does seem to have success in improving props very quickly. Can't think of one who hasn't improved markedly in the past two seasons (maybe O'Hara).

Assuming everyone's favourite bigot is one of the other 4 signings alleged to by the chairman is there any news on who or what positions the others are. We look like we need cover at half. Another prop if ET is going and another back row. Maybe another centre/wing too?

Will have to try to judge him on his own performances and not compare him to his brother who IMO was a stand out player this season. He sounds bullish and up for it and sounded very honest when he said he had taken a backwards step in recent years. Keep him injury free and hopefully 2/3 years down the line we will have another quality prop on board.

Element of risk in all signings - especially in this market. How will Keating/Weyman/Costigan settle and adapt? Does Langley have too many miles on the clock? The only way to get anything close to a sure thing is to pay through the nose, which has obvious downsides.
It just has to be balanced sensibly and as best as possible across the squad. On what's been announced so far, I'm fairly optimistic.

Wasn't it Chris and Des Harrison who were the brothers. Great hair and taches. Looked like the Stylistics circa the 70's. Chris was a good player big tackler and strong runner but hampered by knee injuries.
Des was good at putting fires out.
Was Dave Harrison related to them. Don't think he was if it is the little hooker I'm thinking of. He was a decent player too.

If memory serves me right and sometimes it doesn't. I believe he came to Hull Uni as a student and played for us during his course, once graduated he for an occupation rather then his rugby career. He wasn't related to Chris and Des.
