I enjoyed bits of the Freedom festival, but what really annoyed me was how there were no prices on the timetable. Perhaps the whole idea of "freedom" would give the impression it's all free to join in, not the case. My two year old was really looking forward to the disco dance in the big tent, until we were stopped from entering and asked if we had a ticket, a ticket priced at £8 per child. Seriously, we had a 2 year old and a 2 month old and she wanted £16... ? Anyway, done now. We went swimming at Haltemprice.

We didn't make it. I always assumed that it was all fee & inclusive like the Humber Street Sesh.

Yes, it was really good. Couldn't tell you any of the band names, we spent a lot of the time in Fruit, so prob would have seen them if they played in there.
A friend of mine was doing a stand up set in Minerva but we missed her, we didn't make the silent disco either, the queue was too big.
It was the first time we'd been, but will definitely go again next year.
