We should win on paper there no doubt, but aren't playing well and if you scored early, i think our confidence could go, we are really struggling in dealing with kicks particularly high kicks, so if you get your tactics right you have a chance.
Saying that we were really poor against Hudds, but didn't think we were too bad on Friday,thought Leeds were really good, hooker will make a huge difference and so much class in the backs that I think they will start to play now and win the middle 8s easily. |

Good result and things look a bit rosier than they have for a while.
Good shot at avoiding the spoon now, and 4 home games in the middle 8s is in our own hands.
Catching Cas or Wakey is a thin and fragile hope, and I'm going to avoid even thinking about it for now. If we did win the Derby though...
Looking ahead to that game, Hull still looked (mostly) well organised against Huddersfield and Leeds. Maybe just a tiny bit jaded in attack - though Sneyd was v.good yesterday. Hudds and Leeds both played well, I thought, as well. Tough game, but I'm a tad more optimistic than I was for the last two, when a big, big score against looked a very distinct possibility.

Right now, apparently both Hull and Rervers will struggle to field 17 fit blokes for next week's derby. I've had the SOS call from the club asking me to turn up for training on Monday, but I refused as the club won't consider a loan offer. My missus has me down to take her to the garden centre.
Hull could recall Jordan Babdul from his loan, as Pryce is finally not justifying his salary and Tuimavave is crocked. There's always dependable and versatile Danny W.
You couldn't make it up. Imagine the Black and Whites having to play a game this season with several key players out injured. Don't know how they'll cope.

I've watched that on several platforms now and can't come to any real conclusion.
I'd like a clarification of the laws of the game.
Is it a penalty if Allgood accidentally kicks the ball because I can't see how he could possibly do it on purpose?
(Waits for Mild Rover to look up laws for me because I can't be bothered).
Last night was the absolute definition of a game of two halves, we were awful in the first and Huddersfield were pretty good, vice versa in the second half.
Ta'ai and Rapira were tearing us up in the first half and then did nothing in the second and all of the Huddersfield team decided to ignore their International class three quarters for the majority of the game.
Lawler went really well for us and looks a potentially decent larker, really can't see what so offended Picky about Super Kev.

Jordan Abdul isn't on loan anymore.
To be honest I'm nor sure what this post is about, nobody has moaned about injuries ahead of this game have they, certainly not in masses like other clubs. |

I don't have too much sympathy with clubs who sign injury prone players and choose not to run a reserve team.
No coincidence that 4/5 have reserve teams IMO. |

Wronggggggg.
At worst this season you have had 3 first choice team members missing from the matchday 17 for every fixture so far. Your spine has been mainly healthy and your front row.
Saints, Wigan, Wire, Cas, Hudds, Leeds, Rovers and possibly Wakey have had more than their fair share of first choice absentees this year for every game. |

All 13 Hull players that ran out at Rovers ran out at Saints a week later. There's a difference between being injured & being able to rotate an injury free squad (especially at Easter) which Hull fans seem unable to grasp. |

I haven't listened to it, but have read all the quotes in the press and still haven't seen a quote saying that injuries cost us the game, they certainly didn't help, but I though other factors effecting us more, we managed to get in a winning position even with the injuries, but silly mistakes and not been clinical enough was the reason we lost. |

Last 4 derby for me have been won largely because of power in back row.last year mini, ellis,Wester man. This year mini ellis and tank or manu. Our back row of Horne Clarkson Donaldson or Larroyer looks outgunned.front row and backs I feel we've matched up fine for most part. I'm not making predictions for this game til I see squads but if no ellis n Minichello it would be a big miss for them

Cas are looking comfortable against a somewhat depleted Catalans.
So we'd now be relying on a safe Cas getting a result at a need-to-win Wakey in round 23, on top of everything else, to make the 8.
Every point will help in securing that 4th home game though.
