On topic tho', I don't think anyone knows the full ins and outs of the contracts (I know some think they do). Regardless of who's paying what it is still our ground and as such the chairman will want to see that the works that have been agreed are carried out correctly and are open on time. If as has been stated it also
costing the club more than was agreed he also has a right to annoyed.
I'm assuming wheels will have been in motion to use the corporate facilities and marketing of these will have taken place, if these are not as planned then again this will undermine any of the marketing done so far.
I know its always nice for the FC lot to have a dig at NH but maybe he's just doing his job and vocalising
displeasure, lets be honest if the boot was on the other foot and FC where getting charged extra costs for things they would expect their chairman to speak up.'"
How about that quote from a HCC press release which states the councils disappointment, seeing that the rovers contingent agreed to the sign off on each design change.
Rovers officials agree to a design and subsequent changes yet now spit their dummy out and make up some here say about Hull FC getting preferential treatment!!

The camel that broke the straws back was the loss of the brewery/catering sponsorship (half a million quid), all of the add-ons (sky blue etc) have just poured out of the frustration of delay after delay.
What will happen now?
Karl Turner MP and pro-Rovers councillors will persuade Rovers chief negotiator (Mike Smith) back to the table and all of the ancillary stuff will be resolved (tins of red paint will be bought, an extra ladies wc will be installed, a partition knocked down to give the bar/catering area room for 3 more tables, and the hospitality suite viewing windows increased by three inches all round). Oh, and an outside chance of weekend work being scheduled to get the seating area (if nothing else) ready for the August derby.
This time next month (assuming this Mexican stand-off doesn't cause any further 'slippage') we will be wondering what it was all about. . .hopefully.

Why wouldn't it the Council will still use it even if KR wont, like that wont happen.
Give it a week and everyone will be friends again, no way KR are not going to spend 60k a year for a potential 600k+ profit and we all know this.
