When you say smallish, would you like a team of 6ft 4 18 stone players? Our best players are Quinlan, Hall, Hauraki, Crooks, all are small in regards. Look at Catalans who have a team filled with size and weight, but can be awful at times.

At times. Most teams are awful at times, but mostly not quite as often as Hull KR have been in recent SL seasons. Catalans won the cup last year and currently sit in a play-off spot - if that is the price we have to pay, then so be it.

I’m not saying we can’t have [iany[/i smaller, skilful players, but surely you must be tired of us getting gubbed about the park most weeks for the last 5 years. If it worked and we had quicksilver boys with flaxen curls, skipping with exuberant grace just beyond the grasp of their clumsy leaden-footed opposite numbers, then I would very quickly stfu. But it hasn’t been a recipe for success.

Also, Quinlan is definitely one of our best. The other three have their plus points, and I like them. But i’m not sure they are among our top 5 (you’ll be unsurprised to hear I rate Masoe and Garbutt more highly), and I think they probably wouldn’t be in the first choice team for at least half the clubs in SL. Which is part of why we’ve won joint fewest games in SL this year.

The reason why we have not won anouth games upto now this year is the pack apart from 2 and the 2 are garbutt and Masoe get 2 more like them and keep them fit and we would be higher in the league

I reckon 22pts is the safe spot, anything less is points diff. So four more wins.

Leeds o Friday is gonna be tough. The away support might help. There also needs to be a big response after the Wigan game.

Huddersfield might be getting back to winning ways although Lui-less Salford is hard to judge at tbe moment.

Then hope Cas keep their indifferent form.

Wigan away a second time could be rough though as could Catalans now they've got back a little shape.

Leeds have gone back to basics and playing a very physical game which is generally a problem for us as a team. Far to nice as a team and we turn up on Thursday with anything other than the same aggresion we will get walloped again.

Hope we don,t turn up to play on Thursday Craig, we play on Friday, but you are right, we must match any aggression or we will lose. We cannot afford any more blow out scores against us or the points diff could send us down. We absolutely must win against Leeds or they will be too far away(I think) to catch.

Yes a very strange set of circumstances this week.TBF I used to watch Superleague back in the day when we in Northern Ford and genuinely preferred Hull to win against likes of Leeds and Bradford etc.Never cheered for them or anything daft like that but was pleased for my mates who mostly follow them,especially at Cardiff. All changed when we got promoted and same set of mates got very anti Rovers and now I'm as bad as them in that generally enjoy the other lot losing. Bit sad really

As much as I get the rivalry between clubs, the game is diminished with fewer local derbies in SL IMO - I'd have a competitive Bulls team back in SL like shot over the likes of Toronto, even if the memory of Vainikolo and the Paul brothers (etc) smashing Leeds is not a pleasant one.

I agree with what you say maybe in the near future we will see such has Bradford back in the big time maybe if we move to 14 or 16 teams it might just happen

Should have won by more. Leeds have signed well but Agar is as poor a coach as you could wish for.As inspiring as a stick of wilted broccoli. Parcel did well again Lunt looks 2 stone light and a busted player. Terrible business by Leeds. Didn't expect that win but the wins against Warry Hull and Leeds have been full of amazing attack and scrambling defence. Chuck in the loss at home to Wigan that we dominated we do entertain. Also worth a mention how Linnett totally dominated young Chav centre. Hurrell aside Leeds back 5 are poor. Throw in Myler who doesn't want to be there and Lui who if you don't buy his exaggerated step has little else and add in Agar and they really have hit the skids. FC go there next week and scud them then it really could happen and Leeds go down. Don't get knickers in twist ER I care little if it's Leeds or London as long as it's not The Famous Kingston Rovers!
