I took Mrs GML to TGI Fridays next to Meadowhall last week.
That place is spot on.

Gringo's is okay, Chris (who owns it) is a good guy, he has a bar with a private Karaoke room a few doors down which is a great laugh.

However, if you're going to get a visa to get out of Dewsbury and into Huddersfield and you're going to stay central then Thai Sakon is you're best bet, tell Mark I sent you, he'll see you right. Ooh, and they do a really good Kiwi Sauvignon that you'll like although the Gerwutztraminer is better suited to Thai food.
