Missing out for me would be Goulding & Boubdebza

I'd bring Goulding back personally. I'd also have French John as interchange hooker and play Blair as left 2nd row (he played 80 there last week and needs to keep playing full games to improve his fitness). Salter & Dixon to miss out for me, even though I truly rate KD.

Can't see how Chester would be able to drop Salter after going to press and saying that he felt Salter had his best game in a Rovers shirt against the french.

You may be right, I just think Sio is our best try scorer and Goulding can be trusted to put him away more reliably than Salter. CC will almost certainly do the opposite of what I'd do anyway.

I agree that Dixon needs to play but dropping someone in form and playing well as things stand is a tough call, so Dixon will need to bide his time until an injury or loss of form strikes. Although it pains me to say, Dixon and Salter could be the unlucky ones this week.

I would give goulding an extra week to recover,bearing in mind how well salter and welham played and a toughie,but who can you drop this week for dixon ?

Reading the article on the website I think thats the plan.

For me this is a game we need to win and we need to put out the strongest side available, but goulding for salter does seem harsh on Liam, so as said it will probably just be Donaldson for Allgood

I'd keep the same team as last week, with Donaldson in for Allgood, like someone else has mentioned.

Maybe rovers could explore the possibility of Dixon turning out for Halifax or maybe Gateshead, just to get him some match fitness?

I'd push McCarthy upto prop and Larroyer into 2nd row. Donaldson onto the bench the rest unchanged.

McCarthy ain't big enough for prop. Burke is. I'd hazard a guess Larroyer will start second row this weekend anyway along with Blair.

Dixon and Salter are who I would regretfully leave out.

I don't see a place in the side for Dixon at the moment, I think Cockayne is currently the best full back (but I have huge reservations about this that I won't bore everyone with again) at the club.

Salter loses out for me just because I think Goulding is far superior going forward. The game will be quick tomorrow on the iPitch and we need the person who has the best chance of getting Super Special Sio away.

I'll fully understand and support Chester and I'll be happy about it if he goes with Salter if that's what's best for the group.

Sio's looking real quality but I wonder if he'll ever score from more than 5 yards out lol.

Regarding Salter id leave him in after last week, probably had his best game IMO so leave him in and let Goulding fight his way back in, or what does that say to the lads that play well only to be dropped once a certain players back.
