Probably for his achievements with Leeds which where preety awesome. At Rovers we've only seen a glimpse of what he was like back then throw in the adversity of that nasty broken leg and it's well deserved IMO

This is great news for the lad. I really hope he comes through unscathed and gets his career back on track, preferably with us, but if its not to be, then somewhere else in SL.

I think it would be nice for him to play in the last game of the season as a bit of send off, but I don't see him being with us next season. Funnily enough I could actually see him signing for someone like Crusaders

Good interview with Chev last night, looking at his career track record I can see him getting backfit and performing to his potential again. Would like to see it with us but think it may be elsewhere. If we could retain him on a 1 year (vastly reduced) contract it could reap the rewards.

Didn't see the program, but Chev is a true gent and a top pro. I hope he can get back playing (if thats what he wants) as i still think he has something to offer. Failing that and again if he wants it, i'm sure coaching will become his goal.

The interview focussed more on his early career with Leeds and GB, subsequent incarceration and move to Bath. They talked about his injury and he seemed determined to get back playing, said people writing him off spurred him on more to get back playing. I could see him leaving and then finding his form and becoming very sought after again. I thought we were seeing glimpses of his form in the run up to his injury and it was unfortunate that he never got to kick on.

He came across well during the interview, even when Carney waded into his time inside he handled it well. At 27, I sincerely hope he has a few years left in him, ideally at Rovers, but if he moves on he goes with my best wishes.

I thought the whole programme was pretty good. I hope Chev makes a good comeback (although he couldn't pick a harder game to do it). Not sure how I feel on his long term place, he's clearly got the potential to get right back up there and if he can do it with Rovers then great. We've not seen the best of him though and it's by no means certain we will.
